can't insert sounds

Using FP 2002 when I go into the page properties the "background sound"
section is grayed out. Can't get it un-grayed to be able to use a sound.

Help please

With the page open click Tools > Page settings
Click the Compatibility Tab and set all
drop downs to Custom and Click OK.
