Can't make changes to a look-up table

We are using MOPS 2007. I just tried to make a change to a look-up table and
got the following error message:
The lookup table could not be saved due to the following reason(s):
The values in the lookup table must be unique to a given level.

Not sure what this means. The table is simple with only a single level. All
I tried to do was delete an entry in the table and add another. And, I just
tried to change the old table entry to the new one and got the same message.
Also, if I open the table to edit and just try to do a save without making
changes, I get the same message. Anybody know what's happeining?

Hi don,

the error message indicates that you have 2 values with the same name on the
same level. for Example if you have a 2 levels (something like this)

Product Group 1
Product 1
Product 2

You cannot have another Product called Product 1 under the Product Group 1.
These values need to be unique, hence the error message.
Hope this helps

Thanks Marc. I had wondered what happened to my post since I never received
an e-mail alert that it had been answered. That's why I'm so slow in thanking
you. Regards.

Marc,

I don't know what happened, but I did not have any values with the same
name. I tried many things including adding lines and deleting lines. I got
the same error message each time. What finally worked is that I deleted all
the lines then saved. It worked. I then add the lines back that I needed,
saved, and was successful. Makes you wonder!!
