can't open files

My computer recently died, so I set up my wife's computer
with duel logins for each of us in Windows XP Home. I
then installed Frontpage on her machine and copied "my
webs" from my old machine to hers. Is there a reason why
I can't open my files since setting up these duel logins?

The error message reads that it can't
read "/C/document..." whatever. It appears to be adding
a "/" in front of the document name all on its own.

I need to update these sites ASAP, I have been out of
commission for two weeks now.

Thanks,

How are you opening the site
- File Open Web/Site and browsing to the folder w/ the web

Also how did you "copy" the site
- If from a CD, remove all read only attributes from all files/folder
