Can't open RTF files.

When I try to open an attachment in Outlook 2K with
an .rtf extension (XP OS) I get the following message:

Can't create file: MXDOC00.RTF. Right-click the folder
you want to create the file in, and then click Properties
on the shortcut menu to check your permissions for the
folder.

Tried everything I could possibly think of. I can read
the files on other computers with the same exact
configuration.
