Can't print from open file window in XP

I want to right click on a file in the Open File window and print. It says
"this command is not available from this shortcut menu." In ME and Office
2000, I could do this. Why not now?

Because MS changed the behavior of this feature. You might not get anyone to
admit it's a bug (they'll say it's "working as designed"), but in any case
it doesn't work as it did before, and if that's by design, then the design
is flawed.
