cant type into a table cell

I am working on a word file that has a table in it that I
need to insert/type some content in. But I cannot have the
cursor even get into some of the cells to type. I have
tried using tab to traverse through all cells but the
cursor still skips some cells. Please help!

It seems that you are dealing with a protected form or what Word calls an
"online form." Check this in help. For more about online forms, follow the
links at http://addbalance.com/word/wordwebresources.htm#Forms or
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/FillinTheBlanks.htm especially Dian
Chapman's series of articles.

Look under the Tools menu and see if the command to "Unprotect Document" is
there. If so, try it.
