Change Formats

Hi All:

I imported a huge data from text file into excel as text
file, that means all numbers are regarded as text. Is
there any way I can change the format of these numbers to
format "general" or "number" rather than re-import the
data from text file? Any suggestions or advices are very
appreciated.

try the following:
- select an empty cell and copy this cell
- select your imported data
- goto 'Edit - Paste Special' and choose 'Add'

Try below.
Choose submenu text to columns from DATA menu. You can
adjust the width yourself and format the data as you wish

is working well, too. But yours is only one step. So
efficitent.
