Changing a link to the same spreadsheet in another location

Part 1: I want to change links in my Publisher document from one Excel
spreadsheet to another referencing the same area. I have tried to change
links, but Publisher displays the entire spreadsheet, not the same range.
How do I edit and specify the the range I want?
