Changing Office user details

When I bought my PC, it had Office 2003 pre-installed so when an Office app
shows a user name and company name field, it shows as just an asterisk (*)
presumably because this was what the vendor put in this field when he
installed WinXP.

I've changed the PC's user name and company in Windows. Is there any way to
have this change reflected in the Office apps?

I too am having a similar issue,

I am a Systems Admin for a medium size company with Win2k, WinXP servers and
desktops and running Office 2000. The Systems here are not very well setup in
my opinion so i am currently looking at standardising a lot of things. At the
moment im looking at default profiles for all domain users so that the first
time they log in it creates a new profile from a template (this is what
windows does normally im just changing the template)

When a user opens an Office Program the first time it asks them for their
name and then returns "this program is registered to" and what ever name you
put in each subsequent time you open the program.

What i want to do is have it automatically put in the users "Display name"
from AD.

CAN THIS BE DONE!
