Changing the save as setting in word

I have a user that is trying to save a word doc and the default setting is
always set to save as a web page, How do i change that so that the default
is always to save a word document as a .doc file not as a web page?? Please
Help

Tools > options > save > save as Word document will do the trick in recent
versions at least.
