Changing the Task Owner

P

Priyu Nayak

One of Project Managers was editing a project plan from my computer. So he
was logged into Project Server as me. Since it automaticaly logs in using my
windows account. So now the tasks he edited while he was on my computer are
displayed with me as the owner of the tasks. Even though the project owner is
my colleague. When his resources send updates on the tasks, the emails go out
to me and not him. How do I change the task ownership?

That guy needs to open the project on his own computer and do the following:

1. Click Collaborate - Publish - All Information
2. Make sure the "Entire project" option is selected at the top of the
dialog
3. Select the "Become the manager for these assignments" option
4. Click OK

Hope this helps.
