Closing Outlook/My PC

Hi,

Whenever I close my PC, I often get a dialog that says
Outlook HTMLMenu is still open and prompts me to close
it. However if I do, the next time I open Outlook it
takes ages to start up, apparently re-indexing all
messages in the PST files. Thsi can take 20 minutes or
more.

I am using Outlook 2000.

Can anyone help please ?
