color change of text when saved to PDF

I have created a document and want to save this to a PDF format but there is
2 sections of text that change to a gray when i save it. The page prints ok
but not when saved. does any one have any ideas why

What program are you using as the PDF converter? What version Publisher? If you
are using 2007 convert your document with the Microsoft save as PDF add-in, does
that make a difference?

that happens to me when I use .png and .eps graphics in publisher. Try .jpg
or .gif. hope that helps.
