Colur Code the Resource bar

If you apply 2 different resources to a task, how can I colour code the bar
on the Gantt chart to reflect this? Most frustrating.

Any help would be great.

Hello,
You can customize a Flag(x) field with a formula such as:
IIf(InStr([Noms ressources];"Muriel")>0 And InStr([Noms
ressources],"Gérard")>0,True,False)
then, in the Bar Styles dialog, create a symbol bar which will Show For
"Normal,flag(x)"
I hope you don't have a large number of resources... ;-)

i
kindly follow these steps:
1. create a new task based custom field and give it relevant name
2. under type select flag (flag1)
3. under formula type this formula IIf(InStr(1,[Resource Names],",",1)>0,1,0)
4. now insert this field in the gantt chart view
5. from the format menu select bar styles
6. create a new row. give relevant name.
7. in appearance choose some different color bar
8. under show for task select flag1
9. under from start
10. under to finish

now all the bars with more than one resource name will appear in different
color.
hope this helps.

Thanks for this.
I can colour code the bars, but I can't apply two colours to one bar. If a
task has two different tradesmen working, for example an electrician (blue)
and a joiner (red), I want to be able to colour part of the bar red, and part
blue ??

Thanks again
