Compatibility issue/question...

Purchased a new computer with XP Home installed. Wondering if i can install my Office 2000 AND if it'll work??? (there is no Word on the new machine...and my wife is gonna go nuts) Or are there issues to deal with? Has anyone tried this successfully?

Yes it will work, but read the EULA that came with O2000 first to check you
are liscenced to do it.
