Completed Tasks

In the "simple" view of the task pane, is there a way to choose NOT to
display completed tasks? Seems like there must be, but I sure can't find
it in Help or knowledge base.

Anyone know the secret?

Change the view to Active Tasks or customize/create a view to filter based
