Computer denies access to microsoft 2003 files previously created

I have previously created documents in word/exel/publisher before and have
used them on this, my new computer. However, the machine now says it can not
find/open these previously existing files. Or that when the computer has
scanned for viruses it has denied access to these files??

Did you ever purchase/activate Office?

Sounds like you were using the trial version and it has now timed out.
You'll need to purchase Office to continue using it. Click the Help
menu to locate the activation option.
