configuring for users

I have several users on my computer. I'm the administrator of the
computer. How do I unistall a program for one user without uninstalling
for another user. I have a program that I wish to appear on the desktop
for my settings, but I do not want that program accessed by other users.
When I go to uninstall from the start menu, I think it will uninstall
it for the entire computer and not just that user.

Also, when I install future programs on my settings, how do I keep it
from installing for the other users?

I hope this has made sense.

Thanks for any help.

depends on the MSI package. Some applications allow themselves to be
installed only for the current user, ah, and you can always play with the
shortcuts by moving them between c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop
and c:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Desktop
