Working with the connectors stencil. I noticed the length property only gives
the distance between the begining and the end of the line regardless of how
much line is between. For example, the two end points could be 1 foot apart
and there would be 8 feet of line in between, and the length shows 1 foot.
Is there a way to get the running length or is there a connector that has
running length?

there were some issues with connector length in the past. what version of
visio are you using and do you have all of the patches applied.

One option would be to write a macro to sum the lengths of each part
of the line, easy if there is just the one geometry section, the line
is continuous and straight and only has 90 degree angles.
