You still left out relevant information. By reading between the lines, I
suspect you are not using your Personal Contacts Folder. You are using the
Outlook Address Book. If my speculations are correct:
Go to Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or
address books > Outlook Address Book > Change. > Set your sort order there
If my speculations are not correct, then please post more accurate
information.
