I am using MS Office 2007 and am in Access. When I open my database I get a
"security warning" and it says "Certain content within the database has been
disabled". I click on the options and it says "Help me protect from unknown
content" and also "Enable this content". I always select "Enable this
content". Is there a way that when I open my database "Enable this content"
will always be selected and I won't see the Security Warning?
Thanks

You need to set up the database as a trusted site. That is achieved by
clicking the windows globe at the top left hand side of the Database Window,
from the drop down menu that appears choose Acces Options from the bottom
centre of the menu

Choose
Trust Centre
Trust Centre Settings
Trusted Locations
Add new Location

Here you need to specify the path of the database

\\Server:\Folder\Folder\Folder
or
C:\ToplevelFolder\Folder\
Also tick sub folders are trusted if you want to add more folders in this
location.

I hope this helps you a little????

Kindest Regards

Missed a \ off \\Server:\Folder\Folder\Folder

Should be \\Server:\Folder\Folder\Folder\

As an example only of course.

This will allow you to open the database without the security warnings every
time.

Nice site Bob, pity I'm tone deaf, could share some records, my wife used to
have a 78rpm collection. Hwever, I don't play video games. I do send Morse
Code at a fantastic rate being one of the top 500 world class Ham members
Club but thats another storey.

Will bookmark your site for future reference on here.

Regards
