Copy and paste a Publisher file with a background into email?

I need to copy and paste a Publisher publication foreground and background
into an email to a client who does not have a publishing program. I have
copied and pasted 100's of times but never something with a background. I
can copy and paste the foreground and background individually but I need it
to show as it does in Publisher, not as two separate pages. Is there any way
I can do this?

When you setup your email as HTML you can choose a background within the email
application. Place your cursor in the message pane, format, background. (This is
for Outlook, might be different in your mail program).Then paste the foreground.
Be certain your client will accept HTML emails, most folks don't. JoAnn's
suggestion sending a PDF would be a better solution. There are free converters
around.
