Copy/paste problem

I've got word 2000. SOMETIMES when I do a "copy/paste"
from one word doc to another all I get is a
tiny "picture." It doesn't always happen and I swear I do
the same steps each time. What gives???

If you are copying and pasting from the Internet (a web page), you might be
accidentally grabbing some sort of image. Regardless, try this:

Copy your text, switch to Word, click "edit", "Paste Special", select
"Unformatted Text". Click "OK". Does the "tiny picture" appear still?
