Thanks,

Thank you very much Milly. I didn't expect a response ..
Can I continue my question: Is there are a way to document all the
modifications since the creation of the document and to document them or
print them? Or can I make a pdf out of the word doc and have the properties
inscribed?
As you have understood I am quite old and trying to keep up ...
Grateful for your assistance,
Michel

Make a backup using "backup software", MOVE the original to the new
location, Restore the "backup copy" to the original location. You now
have two identical copies with the same time and date stamping. Notice
that Office applications are NOT involved in this operation.
