Copying folders to removable disks

When I try to copy folders to a removable disk, I get a message that says
"unable to create "(Title of folder)"; access is denied. How can I correct
this so I can copy folders to a cd.

While this has nothing to do with Publisher........how are you trying to
create these folders?
