Copying gif's into Word

Why won't all pasted gif's in show in a document. For instance, if I copy the
Microsoft Office Online logo and paste in Word, it shows fine, but if I do
the same with f.i. the Amazon logo it doesn't show. Even though its only 1.5
kb.
Have done this, but it doesn't help:
Tools | Options | View: Make sure that "Drawings" is checked and that
"Picture placeholders" is *not* checked.

Instead of using Ctrl+V or the Paste button to paste into Word, try clicking
