Cost field doubles in MS Project 2007

When users adding a "cost" resource to a task and enter a forecast for
that resource, save, publish and one of two things happens either the
cost field doubles or the forecast gets blown away.

Is there anyone else with that problem? If so, how did you fix it?

Please please assist.

Hi carjohns ,

It sounds like a Project Server problem. Try posting on the
microsoft.public.project.server newsgroup. Please see FAQ Item: 24. Project
Newsgroups. FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information
can be seen at this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hi, I have experienced the same problem. When I update a task with resource
/ cost attached, duration/cost on another random task within the schedule is
blown out significantly ie. 2008 finish date becomes 2010. This happens even
when the tasks can not be traced back to each other.

I am using Microsoft Project Professional 2007 with PS1 update (standalone
version).

Has anyone else experienced the same problem and know how to fix????

Thanks,
Suzy
