Creating a Macro to take Data from Excel and paste it into Project?

(I hope this hasn't already been asked, but if it was, I couldn't find
it.)

Question:
Does anyone know how to write a Macro that will take data such as a
date from and Excel spreadsheet and paste it into a particular field in
Project?
The lay out of my Excel sheet is going to be very different from
Project, so I can't use the Project Template in Excel.
I will have to take dates from different columns in Excel and Paste
them into partiuclar field's in a Project file, then go back to Excel
and take the dates for the next row down and paste them into a
completely different Project file, and so on.
I have to do this about 1000 times, and I'm just looking for a way to
write a macro that will work across both programs.
Any help out there would be GREAT!

You need my book!! Good examples in it of doing just what you ask.

You can either write a macro in Excel VBA to export data to Project, or
re-write the data into a Project Template in Excel then import from there.
Alternatively write a VBA macro in Project to import the data from Excel.
