Creating a table using a macro

D

Doug

I have set up several preformatted tables and want to use a macro to generate the selected table into a new document. When I try to record the macro, I cannot select the table at all. Any suggestions please

The only way around this that I can see is to create the table during the process of recording the macro. This seems to be a laborious process.

Use AutoText instead of a macro. Save the table as an AutoText entry and
either use AutoText manually to insert it in your other document or record a
macro inserting the AutoText or add the AutoText to a custom menu.
