Creating mail merge list in Excel for Publisher

I have created a ticket in Publisher. I want to mail merge tracking numbers
into it from a list of numbers in Excel. I have never used excel before. I
did my list of numbers need to know, with simple directions, how to identify
the list as a field in publisher and have publisher recognise that field.

What version Publisher? Open the Mail & Catalog Merge Wizard...

Your merge is the same as any mail merge operation. Create a text box, browse to
your data, insert the field.
