Critical Path

I have a project of around 1500 activities, 'Critical' filter showing me
every activity or every activity has gone critical. Slack is set at less than
2 days and 'Multiple Critical Path' is unchecked.

So have you linked all tasks together with no (or minimal) dates entered?
Please explain how you built your Tasks and links etc.
