cropping

KEITH

have an image (which is a face) i want to crop and bring into powerpoint. I
have brought the image into paint, and have then cropped using the freehand
tool, but when I go to copy and paste into pwp, I can only select a square.
This give me the image, but with a background as well. Any ideas?

Hi Keith,

I would recommend (ALWAYS) using the save to disk and insert picture method
of getting images into PowerPoint. Cut&Paste is a bit unpredictable for
what all it will bring into the presentation and may not be in the best
format once it gets there.

Far, far better to save to an image format, then insert that saved image
into the presentation.
