In Project 2007 Web Access component, does anyone know by default what shows
up in current tasks. It appears to be any outstanding tasks and tasks for
this week and next week. Thanks.

Linda --

In the future, please post your Project Server questions in the
microsoft.public.project.server newsgroup, as this newsgroup is dedicated to
the Microsoft Project desktop application only. To answer your question, a
"current task" is any task that meets the following criteria:

1. Any task that should have started by now by has not.
2. Ask task that is currently in-progress (progress entered against it).
3. Any task scheduled to begin in the next 10 days (this is set by the
Administrator).
4. Any task that was completed in the last 10 days (on the 11th day, the
system hides the completed task).

Item #4 is different than how a "current task" was defined in Project Server
2002 and 2003. Hope this helps.

Not a response to Linda's question, but I have another question.
I want to show how many hours expended on tasks that last several days. When
I put a start date and end date, total hours (or days) are calculated in
Duration column. I want to show only the hours actually worked. If I modify
the hours in the duration column, the end date changes.
How do I manually overide the calculations so I can enter hours worked?
