Cursor can not be placed in text field

When I create a new mail message, or reply to an email
message, for some reason, the area for which the message
is to be typed will not accept my cursor. It is as if the
area is "greyed" out. I can not even tab down to that
location.

What version of Outlook are you using? Note: this group does not support
Outlook Express.

If using Outlook, ensure you have checked the option under the Edit menu to
"Edit Message."

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to the
Swen virus, all e-mails sent to my actual account will be deleted w/out
reading.
