Cursor Moves back a few words

Hi

I have conneceted up from home and while in outlook typing or replying to an
email the cursor moves back (usually in the same line) to the middle of a
word.

I have a laptop I am connecting up from and I am not touching the mouse pad
at all.

Any idea's what could be causing the issue?
