Custom cost column - don't want $0.00 to display on every line

I would like to see only populated numbers and then sum up project totals. I
have the column set up to SUM all costs, but hate seeing all the ZERO's when
opening the project - It is also confusing when I print reports.

Hi,

You can customize a text field to show blank when the value is zero.

Can you customize the same way to a Cost field? I tried to go the text field
avenue, but cannot SUM the text column...

Hi,

Calculate and sum in the cost field, and convert everything (detail and
summary lines alike) to a text field
A cost field will NEVER show a blank.
