Custom Slide Show

Is there a way to name each slide of a PowerPoint Presentation? I need this
because I am using Custom Show, and when I want to select the slides they
appear only by the number and I can't identify them

I believe that the name you see (or don't see, in this case) is whatever is
in the title placeholder of each slide (you know, that area that says "Click
here to add title"). You are either using a blank layout or are not typing
anything into the title placeholder. You can put something into the title
placeholder and drag it off the viewable area of the slide if you don't want
it to show up on the slide.
