Draw a rectangle around the edge of the business card. Set the fill to
None and the border as thin as you like, and possibly light grey to make
it less conspicuous on your finished trimmed card if there's some left over.

IIRC vistaprint.com has excellent instructions on what they want from you
for customized biz cards.
They're very good, btw..I've used them for biz cards.

Thanks, yes i followed those same instructions but when i click
view-boundaries and guides those green lines wont appear in my layout to
start designing my card.
i use publisher 2007. i have tried many times and nothing happens, then how
would i know the letters wont be cut off when the business card prints?

Surely you don't need the green guide lines... I downloaded the template from
the site you reference, there are crop marks in print preview. The template
shows an one inch margin all around. If you would to leave the margin you
wouldn't have much room for your design.

On your screen is a business card and like all business cards you should be able
to design to the edge.
