Date copy and paste

When I copy and paste the start or finsh date to an excel
spread sheet, it also copies the time. I only need the
date copied and pasted not the time. It looks as follows -
-----------Fri 9/26/038:00 Any help is appreciated!!

After you have copy/pasted to excel just select the excel cells and choose
a date format which strips the time.

Cliff,

Date/time date in Project is just that. Holds both date and time. The
same is true in Excel. In Excel you can "format" the data to hide the
time from being displayed.
