How do I make the tab setting stay at .2 and not .5 as is the default.
I am have a real problem with my tabs reverting back to the .5 setting.
I am working with flyers and want a .2 tab setting.
I am doing the followiing:
1 highlignting the text box
2 click onto Format
3 click onto tabs
4 setting my "Default tab stops: to .2
5. backing out
6. saving docuement
The problme is when i close the docuement down, and yes I do save my
changes, and then open it back up all the tabs have reverted to .5.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

1. Which version of Windows are you using?
2. Which version of Publisher are you using?
3. Are you using a wizard template? Or did you create from scratch?

I forgot to add that I am unable to duplicate your findings.

We are running Window XP Professional, and Publisher 2003.
It is not a templete.
I do my flyers from scratch.

Can you post the flyer in question, or email it to me at
(e-mail address removed)

So are you saying that you have existing text boxes with text in them
saved at .2, and then when you close, then reopen, the tabs revert to .5
therefore moving your existint text?

I am having the exact same problem using the same versions and procedures.
How do I find out what worked for you in resolving it?

Yes this was originally a Pub 2000 file and I am now working with Pub 2003. I
see other people have had this problem. I will look for the Knowledge Base
article for the "workaround".
