Delegating Tasks Permissions

Situtation: Project Managers want to assign tasks to to a Team Lead. The Team
Lead will delegate the tasks to his/her resources. The PM will not control
the resources only the Team Leads.

PWA has a delegate selection on the Tasks page. But the correct, role,
permissions must be set on the Team Leader role in order for this to work
properly.

For instances, the team lead will get a response back that he does not have
resources available or that he does not have permissions to the access the
enterprise resources (what I suspect is going on).

By using full administrative permissions and global permission I can get the
delegation to work.

However, you get a message stating the approval of the delegation of the
task is awaiting manager approval.

When I go to PWA as the admin, and accept the update the delegation of the
task is approved.

What the PMO wants is to give the Team Lead the permission to delegate all
the assigned tasks he was assigned by the PM, along with the ability of
approving the delegation (update/accept the tasks).

Any Ideas on what specific roles, categories and permissions this would
require?

Anyone ever done this?

Thanks!

The only way this could happen is if the Team Leader is also the Project
Manager for the project. Sorry.
