Time Sheet Approval Not coming

Hi ,
We have
I am having a problem configuring Project 2003
If the following is my RBS structure
Project Manager
---->Team Leader
-------->Team Member

Scenario:
Project Manager publishes the project assigns task to the Team Leader
Team Leader delegates the task to the Team Member.
There is a request for the Project Manager to accept the delegation.
The Project Manager accepts the delegation.
Now the Team Member fills in the time sheet and updates the time sheet.
The Team Lead gets a mail User has updated the following tasks
To View and respond to the changes please connect to your PWA resource task
changes page at ..... the url to connect to PWA.
but on clicking of the link it does not show the tasks updated by the
resources....
It says that Your Resources have not submitted any task changes.
To receive....

Is it a configuration problem ???
or it because we have not installed the SP1 for Ms Project 2003 will it
create the problem??

Are you using 2007 and not 2003 ?

Is so, could it be that your updating timesheets and not importing the data
to the task updates ?

Did the team leader choose the Lead Role option when delegating the task?
If this is the case, the team leader will find the task update on his/her
own View My Tasks page, and he/she will need to send the update to the
project manager. Let us know what you find.

Hi Dale,
Thanks for the quick reply...
We are using project 2003......
The Team Lead choose the lead Role option while delegating the task.
Will the team lead be able to accept or reject the time sheet that the team
member has updated.
The Team lead's View My Tasks shows that the task is completed 100% but
should the team lead update the selected row for it to be accepted or
rejected ?
can the team lead accept or Reject the time sheet.

Is there any way to make sure that whenever the task is assigned to the team
member the team lead has to accept or reject the time sheet.

Thanks in Advance
With Regards

The Team Lead cannot reject the task update. All he/she can do is to submit
it to the project manager for approval from his/her own View My Tasks page.
This is a limitation in how the team lead role works in Project Server 2003.
Your expectations are reasonable, but what you expect is not how the
software works. Sorry. Hope this helps.

Hi Dale,
Thanks for the quick turn around,
please suggest a workaround for this

RBS Structure

->Hod
-->Project Managers
--->Team Members

The hod creates the project ,
HOD assigns the task to the Team Members and Project Managers
Is there any way to make sure that when Team Member is updating the task
list it goes for approval to the project manager and not to the HOD

please suggest.

With Regards
