Delete multiple appointments

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: pop I'm using Entourage for mail and calender, and the calendar events is synced with iCal since MobileMe requires so. The sync prosess has caused med quite some pain - mostly because the sync problems has duplicated (many times....) the events in my Entourage calendar. So i need to go through my old events and delete - but i can't find a way to delete multiple items in the list view.....

I there a way to delete multiple events by:
1. Mark multiple evenets, and then press delete, or
2.Delete all event earlier than, in a spesific time period...?

Sure, once you have performed a search for them and got them in a list,
you can command-click, shift click, etc and then delete.
