deleteing document (maybe)

Everytime I open word it always opens on a document that
my 10 yr old created. I delete and do not save it and
when I open word again there it is?? What has he done?
I'm not sure if it is a template he has created or it is
a macro? Can anyone please suggest any fix for this?

G'Day,

It sounds as though he has 'overwritten' the
Normal Template.

DO a Search for NORMAL.DOT.

IF
you have 'stuff' like styles etc stored in NORMAL.DOT
THEN
rename to OLDNORMAL.DOT
rescue your 'stuff' below
ELSE
delete NORMAL.DOT
ENDIF

RUN Word.
IF 'stuff' needs to be rescued, use the 'Organiser' NOW.
