Deleting a Word Document in Ofice 2007

I have successfuly created a document . Now I want to dete it. The name of
the document appears shows under "Recent Documents" when I click the yellow
Office Microsoft tab.

If I open the document there is an option to save but not to delete.
How do I delete a document previosly created.
Please provide detailed instructions to a novice word user.

You need to delete it via Explorer, or Open My Documents, if that were you
saved it, and delete it there
