Design template previews

[Puzzled]

Previews of slide design templates do not display although if I mouse over
where they should show up the 'box' does appear. Does anyone have an idea how
to correct this short of a reinstall of Office? I have already tried a
'repair' and that did not work. Thanks in advance.

Try setting back the graphics hardware acceleration back and see if it helps:

Are your slide thumbnail layouts also missing? How about color scheme
thumbnails and clip art -- in other words, is anything else missing from any
of the other PPT task panes?
