Disassociating non-calendar functions in Outlook

I use Outlook for the calendar function exclusively. Is there a way of disassociating or entirely deleting the other functions from Outlook? Thanks, Bill

Sure there is a way to do so. Go to file and select new, choose "personal
folders" or outlook data file. This should just create a deleted items
folder. Make sure the folder list is viewable, then right click on
"personal folders" and choose new folder, call it clanedar and make sure it
says calendar items to post. Now you should be able to right click the pst
with the contacts and such and choose close.
