Document locked and can not edit

Some how I have managed to lock my microsoft word blank
age and now I get a message that the document is locked
and can not be edited. Can anyone help?

I'm afraid you don't give us enough information...

Let's start with which version of Word?

And please give us the *exact* error message you're seeing?

What actions do you perform that causes the error?

And what do you mean by "word blank age"?
