Does it still keep publisher???

So i got an microsoft update "MICROSOFT HOME AND STUDENT" 2007 and it
contains word excel power pint nd one note. I already have publisher 2003 nd
dont want to get rid of it and also microsoft accesces . Will the update only
update those programs listed. And not delete my publisher 2003?

It should leave them there; it may give you an option to remove them (I
haven't done that particular upgrade), but I doubt it.

I didn't think you could upgade Student versions
but if Publisher 2003 was separate it shouldn't bother it I wouldn't think

I don't think he means a Student-special-price version but the version sold
for "home & students" that includes what Microsoft thinks is needed
by...home & student users -- thus the OneNote rather than Publisher or
database, I guess. It's a regular retail product, though I have seen special
deals on it from time to time, just as for many other s/w products (MS &
others).

I also got the H&S 2007 version & then bought Pub. separately, rather than
the ?Small Business? version that included Pub. -- my Pub 2003 was part of a
SB version bought with a different computer.
