Double emails

Whenever I receive an email that is to me and a CC: to a
distrubtion list I am in, I receive 2 emails. Is there
something I can do to eliminate the double email? Often I
receive email just from the distribtuin list so I can't
eliminate my name from that. Thanks!

No, the sender is sending out the 2 messages to you. You
might be able to set up a rule, but I doubt it's worth
the trouble.

If you frequently receive dbl. msgs. as a result of the
distribution list, I would suggest to the sender to create
another distribution list, minus your name, and use that
one when he or she sends a message with you as the
recipient in To:

Ask the sender to not send to you directly, as you already are on the
distribution list.
